Secondly, I tried the "call and talk to a support person" method. Finally, they asked me to wait, which I did for over an hour, before having to disconnect the chat when I could no longer get any response. ![]() According to this person's questions it was apparent they did not even understand basic Quickbooks functions as they were asking me how I had accomplished the basics of setting up an account and entering transactions into that account. First, I tried the "chat with a Quickbooks support person" method. So, I concluded, that I needed some more help. I found the Quickbook instructions online for this situation, but could not make Quickbooks Desktop version work according to the instructions. Recently, I have struggled to properly account in Quickbooks Desktop for a vendor refund. I have used Quickbooks for over 20 years and Payroll for about 6 years.
